JAY-Z is finding the credit crunch is hampering his London party plans.

The hip-hop superstar has found no club willing to stump up his appearance fee.

Representatives for the star, in town to watch his NBA team, the New Jersey Nets, take on Miami Heat at The O2 on Sunday night, initially asked for $25,000 for him to host a party.

Even though that figure has now gone down to $7,500, no clubs are interested.

A club source told us: “No club is willing to stump up the cash.

At this rate he might even have to party for free.”

Damn...only $7500? I'll give that up to Jay no problem...holler at me dawg. fill up a 3,000 capacity venue, i got people's who will let me use their club for free as long as they keep the bar money. While i will cake off the door 100%. 3,000 times $20. 60 G's minus the $7,500 = $52,500, not bad for one night....i make more than Jigga!

Of course since it's Jigga you can charge much more at the door...i remember a party he hosted once 3 yrs ago....these fuckers were charging $60 at the door. I've promoted a little here and there, give me the packed house with 100's of people waiting in line any day...build a name for my brand.

It's all about how you negotiate with the club owner...trust me...you can get them to let you keep the door money, cause they're worried about the bar money.

YO $7500 is MAD CHEAP...Premo and Pete Rock ask for that kinda money...even 25k for HOV is nothing....HOLLA AT ME MAN!!

To the comment by "this is scola" it's not as easy as you think it is. You got to have that 7.5 k up front. So your gonna have to get tickets unless u can put the cheese up. If you go that route you gotta get people to sell em. So you gotta pay them and worry bout their people tryna get hooked up. Cuz basically you gotta end up with 7,500 in a short amount of time cuz no smart veteran artist will perform without being paid beforehand. It's just bad business. But yeah if your a established promotor and you can put the dough up...up front 7.5 aint shit. Thats suprising.
